Compendium of listserv emails commissioned by transmediale and exhibited at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt (HKW) during the 2020 edition of the festival.
Listserver busy. Full digest rescheduled is a printed compendium of emails collected from various notorious mailinglists that were central in forging pan-European media arts discursive networks from the mid-90s onwards. The compendium is devised to look like a bible containing “canonical” electronic mail pertaining to various topics ranging from cyberfeminism to tactical media to deep europe. Part parody, part historical, 35 compendiums of 1471 pages each were printed and exhibited as part of transmediale’s “The Eternal Network” group exhibition. The compendium was produced with Torque Editions.
